Abstract

La suplementación de pigmentos en alimentos para camarón puede producir efectos positivos en ganancia de peso,
sobrevivencia, resistencia a enfermedades y un mayor valor agregado en el producto terminado, confiriéndole ventajas al
momento de su comercialización. Sin embargo, los resultados publicados son contradictorios y poco comparables. En
este trabajo se presenta una revisión de los trabajos publicados sobre el efecto de pigmentos de flor de cempasúchil
adicionados en alimentos para camarón en términos de crecimiento, sobrevivencia y eficiencia de pigmentación.
