Revisión Sobre Ritmos Circadianos, Frecuencia de Alimentación y Crecimiento en Peces
Abstract
El ritmo circadiano de alimentación se refiere a la frecuencia diaria de alimentación relativa
al fotoperíodo. Las variaciones en los tiempos de alimentación tienen efectos significativos
sobre el crecimiento en una variedad de peces marinos y de agua dulce. Este trabajo
discute: 1) los resultados de estudios de frecuencia de alimentación circadiana; 2) los
mecanismos potenciales por los cuales las variaciones en la frecuencia de alimentación
circadiana ofrecen respuestas diferenciales de crecimiento; 3) las implicaciones de
frecuencia de alimentación circadiana para piscinas acuícolas; 4) líneas de investigación y
problemas que deben ser abordados para establecer los regímenes alimenticios óptimos
para peces.
