Resumen

su influencia en la maduración y el desove, así como su interdependencia con otros factores también de suma
importancia: las condiciones ambientales, manipulación, las técnicas de inducción del desove y la nutrición,
destacándose la importancia de conocer las influencias respectivas y sus interacciones para mejorar integralmente las
condiciones para alcanzar el éxito en la producción masiva de juveniles. Se presentan criterios sobre la calidad del
proceso reproductivo y la influencia de los diversos factores. Se analiza brevemente la influencia de algunos factores
en los parámetros reproductivos y como en mayor detalle el estado nutricional de los reproductores. Se resumen los
reportes de efectos de la alimentación sobre los parámetros reproductivos más importantes: el desarrollo sexual de
los reproductores y su desove, la fecundidad, las características morfológicas de los huevos, la calidad del semen, el
desarrollo embrionario, los porcentajes de huevos flotantes, de fertilización, de eclosión y supervivencia de las larvas
vivas normales y a la primera alimentación. Finalmente se analizan los ingredientes que han demostrado un gran
valor para las dietas de los reproductores y las mejores prácticas de alimentación.
